About the MPA Pharma group

As a dynamically developing company with an international footprint, the MPA Pharma group's core activities are in the reimport and parallel import of EU medicinal products, trade with pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and contract manufacturing services for third parties. As a market leader we have 35 years of excellence and expertise in the pharmaceuticals market. Our strong partnership ethic in dealings with customers, the long-standing, extensive expertise of our around 640 employees and our comprehensive product range offered on fair terms form the basis of our long-lasting and successful business relationships.

The MPA Pharma group is owner-managed and its headquarters is located in Trittau, near Hamburg in Germany. It is the sole parent company of the distribution subsidiary EMRAmed, which is based in Germany and operates in the German-speaking world. Since 2012, the MPA Pharma group has also been the majority shareholder of Paranova Group A/S, which is domiciled in Denmark and has distributors in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Effective November 2016, MPA Pharma group assumes the remaining share of Paranova Group A/S and thus becoming a 100% shareholder.
